TV shows for kids usually have flimsy plots, grating dialog, and flat characters. Whatever opinion one has about children's television at large, most adults agree that there's little substance to it. Put that way, it sounds silly and fannish, but there's method to my geekiness. It's true that he's a little younger than the target audience for Avatar: The Last Airbender, but little kids can't help looking up to big kids, and I've seen no better kids on television than Team Avatar. No, I'm delighted because my son picked a first-rate cartoon role model. 'I'm gonna be Aang for Halloween!'
